Mentoring & Advisory Introductions

SENIOR EXECUTIVES HAVE (TOO) MANY ADVISORS – BUT IT’S STILL LONELY AT THE TOP

We provide access to mentoring and advisory services that help you perform at your best.

The CEO under pressure can turn to the CFO, the corporate broker, the M&A advisor, the board member, the management consultant. The advice they give may not be entirely impartial.

Somerton provides leaders with an additional sounding-board – we introduce them to other executives who have, perhaps in former roles, faced the same or comparable situations. This form of advice will not replace the detailed strategic analyses of a top-tier consultant, or the market insight of the corporate broker – but it will be one-to-one and free of vested interests.

As Senior Executives’ experiences are shared by only a few hundred people in the world, we can facilitate the introductions for your benefit.

We are told that what our clients really want is to talk to somebody who has been in their shoes before. Few people have, for example, ever been on the receiving end of a hostile takeover bid. Certainly, nobody in the professional advisory business has been there. We believe that benefiting from others’ experience at this time is a valuable complement to the offerings of professional service firms.
